Emma Soubrier, director of the PRISME Initiative (Pathway to Renewed and Inclusive Security in the Middle East - World Peace Foundation), LADIE’s associate researcher, recently published the synthesis paper of the SALAM workshop #2, on "The opportunity cost of the arms trade in and between North America, Europe, and the MENA region".

As a reminder, this second debate assessed the economic and political trade-offs linked to prioritizing arms manufacturing and trade on both domestic and international fronts.
