The deportation of thousands of children from Réunion Island to France, between 1962 and 1984, is a dark page of the French history. The so-called «enfants de la Creuse» were transferred to 83 departments in France. Instead to benefit from a good education, these minors were mostly employed as laborers in agriculture or herding and were subjected to every sort of ill-treatment. This State policy was a crime against humanity. What is striking is the fact that today there is a lack of a real narration through images of this filthy diaspora imposed by a «civilized» Western country.
